Still in preparation for xmas I've designed these great giant knitted baubles. Forever mixing crafts, this time I've mixed my knit with pinned sequins...I'm not sure what it is called..pin art, pin flair (or is that the company brand, not sure?) Anyway I had great fun. Working on four needles I knitted half of the sphere shape. Put in the polystyrene ball. knitted a bit more, then pulled all the stitches in tight. Then I cast off and pinned the edge of the knitting to secure it. Photographed this weekend in my friends absolutely stunning house which is every vintage loving girls dream house. My friends & I suffer house envy every time we visit :)
Those are really cute!! My grandmother tried to teach me how to knit - but I couldn't even get a scarf straight :)
